Regular shoes can leave permanent scratches and marks on pickleball courts during play, damaging the surface. To prevent this, we require the use of shoes that have non-marking soles, such as any of the shoes sold on our online store and retail store.

Non-marking shoes have flat, softer soles with minimal texture so as not to leave marks on the court. Most non-marking soles are not black, but can be black in some cases if the texture is appropriate.
